Greetings Friend! Welcome to Eli’s Treasures. It is no accident that you have found us today.  In fact, we believe it is by Divine appointment! What does that mean?

It means that God has a message for YOU today.  And, that message is being delivered through the honor and memory of our beloved son Elijah, aka Eli.

You see, our son Eli left this Earth unexpectedly on April 26, 2019 and made his departure to Heaven at the very young age of 4. This is something we obviously never prepared for and thought could never happen.

However, we were not given a choice and have been left on this Earth to try and figure out how to move forward.  So, it has become our life mission to do our best in carrying out his legacy, while bringing glory to God.

That being said, let me explain what the Kitty symbolizes on your Treasure and what the message is for you today.

Eli loved Kitties. Actually, that is an understatement. Eli LOOOOOVED Kitties! When he was 1 years old, we bought him a little blue Ty Beanie Kitty.  And, this little kitty became his best friend. There was not a night that went by where Eli went to sleep without his “Meow Meow”.

So, that led to many pre-bedtime Meow Meow hunts! We would all have a last minute hunt to try and figure out where Eli may have hid his sweet friend during the day.  And, it was always a great relief and Praise Jesus moment when we would finally find her! Whew! Well just like my husband and I would go to any extent to find Meow Meow for Eli, I believe that God will go to any extent to find the way to your heart and He has chosen this method, THIS day. So listen up!

So, why a picture of a Kitty? Very simply, for Eli, Kitties symbolized JOY.

And, it is God’s greatest desire for you to find the true Joy that comes in believing that He is your Heavenly Father and He has provided a way to be reconciled to you.

Why do you need to be reconciled? What caused the initial separation? Sin. You see, God is perfect. And, we are not.

The Bible says in Romans 3:23, “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” So, imagine sin being a large impenetrable wall.  You are on one side and God is on the other. But, this is not how God wants it.

God created you to be part of His family. But, sin is in the way.

So, how do we break down the wall and run into the arms of our loving Heavenly Father?

There is only one way. And, that is believing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Believing that God provided an escape route for us. Believing that this world as we know is NOT all.  Believing that Heaven IS Real and that it can be our eternal home if we choose to go there. Yes, I did say CHOOSE! It is up to you.  God provided a clear path to eternal Paradise.  A place where God will wipe away all tears. There shall be no more death. Neither shall there be any more sorrow or crying nor pain.. (Revelation 21:4)

I don’t know about you.  But, for me, my soul longs to be there! Since our son Eli made his departure to Heaven, I’ve wanted nothing more to leave this Earth and be there with him!

However, it is not my choice “when” I go, but it is my choice “if” I go! Because the fact is that when our body ceases to exist on this Earth, we ARE going somewhere! That is not the end.  So, the question is where will you be going?

You see, if you have never made Jesus The LORD of your life, then you are still separated from God through sin. And, God loves you so much He gave His only begotten Son as a sacrifice for you. Yes, that’s right. God sent His son Jesus to this Earth and he died on a cross and rose again 3 days later. Jesus was resurrected and is Alive! (Hence why we celebrate Easter. ;))

And, because he overcame death, you can do the same.

But, don’t take my word for it. Here are a couple scripture verses from the Bible to prove it!

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “God made Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin for us.”

If you have never done so, choose Him now. Repent of your sin (turn totally from it) and pray this prayer. When you do, the power of God will make you a new creation in Christ Jesus!! And, the God of hope will fill you with all joy and peace in believing, according to Romans 15:13.

“I trust You God. Thank you for sending your son, Jesus to become the perfect sacrifice and to bridge the divide between God and man. Come into my heart and become LORD of my life. And, please take my life and do something amazing with it.”
